A pop-up exhibition was organised to be held in London for a week. The exhibition was to promote a design brand of bags in London by creating a large wall made of bags and interactive art installation. We were appointed to carry out space design, detailing, construciton and project management.
The first room of the exhibtion contains a large wall made of 264 bags. Each bag has a different colour and a graduation of the colour is shown to present materialities and variety of the product. The entire wall is curved to make the audience feel each bag is facing towards them.
The second room in the exhibition showed the art installation. Four different sizes and colours of bags are presented on four podiums. The audience was allowed to freely pick them up and touch, squeeze, shake and twist them. As the bags moved, a large projection infront of the podiums make movements of motion graphics and sounds in accordance with the movement of each bag. This installation was presented for the visitors to play with the shape and material of the bags.
The last room is a showcase of different types of bags that were displaied and visitors were able to purchase them at the end of the installation.
